one month ago...

we went out into the woods to find our christmas tree...

we found it...

together... in the snow...

harper wore her new scarf i knit her... i cut down the tree...

and mr. rooster carried it out of the woods for us...

and then set it up in our living room...

now it is gone.

it's the first and my calendar is already FULL... this month is going to FLY by...

i am SO excited for so many many things this month... i love love love this time of year... if it would just start SNOWING...


so this week i have country dancin' at 4 eagle in wolcott... an ugly turtleneck party... a tea party... a hot date night... and the birds of prey world cup race... yehaw!

i always get stumped at christmas time (i know its not christmas time...yet... but its coming) with what to get all of my loved ones... i usually have one perfect gift for one person and then the rest... well end up with socks... or calendars... or something lame... but i have just found an amazing gift ideas that would be PERFECT for many of my lovies... of course i found it over on pw's blog (she rocks... in case you didn't know)
